Terms of Use of Dilato AI
September 23, 2024
Update Notice: We will soon be updating these Terms of Use. The new version will be incorporated into our Terms of Use published on this page effective February 15, 2025.
1. Introduction
Welcome to the Dilato AI features. These Terms of Use are specifically designed for our AI features. Your use of Dilato AI constitutes your agreement to these terms.
2. AI Limitations and Risks
You acknowledge and agree that the AI features, while advanced, have their limitations. The AI features are designed to assist and enhance productivity but should not be relied upon as the sole tool for documenting clinical notes. Always exercise professional judgment and verify the accuracy of the generated content.
3. Protected Health Information (PHI) and Non-Identification Policy
Users must not input any Protected Health Information (PHI) when using AI features. Notes may be transmitted to third-party systems to generate tailored outputs, and while these systems follow a strict zero-retention policy (meaning no data is stored after processing), Dilato cannot guarantee absolute security.
To protect patient privacy, you must avoid including any identifiable patient information in your notes or templates. This includes, but is not limited to, patient names, locations, IDs, or any information that may potentially identify a patient. A full list of HIPAA identifiers can be found here.
4. Agreement
By using the AI features, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms of Use. You acknowledge the inherent risks and limitations of the AI features and agree to use them responsibly, protecting patient confidentiality at all times. Failure to comply with this policy may result in the immediate termination of your access to the AI features.
Please note that these Terms of Use may be revised and updated without prior notice, so please check this page regularly for any updates.
